First Selectman Marpe Announces Initiation of CT DOT Rehabilitation Study Report for Saugatuck River Bridge
The Connecticut Department of Transportation (the “DOT”) has initiated a “Rehabilitation Study Report” with regard to the Saugatuck River Bridge (State Bridge # 01349), also known as the Bridge Street Bridge and officially known as the Cribari Bridge. Westport officials have been informed that the state owned bridge, which is over 100 years old, is high on the list of deficient bridges in need of rehabilitation

Parks & Rec Announces Extended Weekend Hours for Longshore Pool

North Avenue Bridge Open For Alternating One-Way Traffic
Beginning Wednesday, August 26, the North Avenue Bridge will be open for alternating one-way traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays only. The bridge will be closed evenings and weekends until the project completion in late October, 2015.
