The Connecticut Department of Transportation (the “DOT”) has initiated a “Rehabilitation Study Report” with regard to the Saugatuck River Bridge (State Bridge # 01349), also known as the Bridge Street Bridge and officially known as the Cribari Bridge. Beginning Wednesday, August 26, the North Avenue Bridge will be open for alternating one-way traffic from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays only. The bridge will be closed evenings and weekends until the project completion in late October, 2015.
