We have many miles of coastline on Long Island Sound and provide three town beaches; Compo, Burying Hill, and Old Mill. 

All of Westport's waterfront properties are open with Lifeguards on duty Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend at Compo and Burying Hill Beaches. 

Vehicle parking emblems are required from May 1 though Sept.30 or a daily fee is available.  Please go to Compo Beach or Burying Hill for additional information.

We sell 125 Compo Beach parking passes per day at the gate. Parking for visitors will be in the designated daily pass parking area only. Signage will be posted outside the beach when daily passes are sold out.  Violators will be fined.

Sherwood Island State Park is on the shore of Long Island Sound in Westport.
