The annual curbside leaf collection period will be from Nov. 1 through Dec. 5. Any leaves in biodegradable paper bags and placed on the curbside during this period will be collected by the Public Works Department. Residents living on private roadways must place bagged leaves at an intersecting town roadway. Leaves placed in plastic bags will not be picked up.

The Westport Department of Human Services reminds Seniors that the Department offers a list of middle and high school students willing to work small outdoor jobs such as raking leaves or shoveling walkways.
