    Tax Collector Harry Whiteley reminds residents that first quarter real estate taxes, personal property taxes, motor vehicle taxes and sanitary sewer use and assessment charges are due July 1.

    Mobi-Mat will offer people with disabilities and young families with strollers full access to Compo beach. And times set aside at Longshore Pool are for people who may not use the pool due to overstimulation from what can sometimes be a busy setting with lots of people, noise and splashing.

  • Traffic Advisory for Sunday June 3, 2018

    The Fairfield Half Marathon will be taking place this Sunday. A portion of the race will come through Westport between the hours of 8:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. The police department asks that motorists use extra caution when driving through the effected roads.

  • Renew Dog Licenses Beginning June 1

    Beginning June 1 dog licenses for 2018-2019 may be obtained from the Town Clerk's office or downloaded from the website. All dogs over six months must be licensed.

  • Town to Seek Appeal of Summit Ruling

    Westport First Selectman Jim Marpe announced today that the town had filed an appeal with the Appellate Court requesting a review of the recent Superior Court order requiring the Water Pollution Control Authority (WPCA) to issue a conditional sewer permit to Summit Saugatuck, LLC.

Individuals and teams from across Connecticut will show their strength and determination as they raise donations for The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp. The event is scheduled for Sunday, June 10. from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at The Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts.
