  • The CT Challenge riders will be on Westport Roads Saturday, July 29

    The 2017 CT Challenge Bicycle Ride will be starting/ending at the Fairfield County Hunt Club on Long Lots Rd on Saturday July 29. This event uses a staggered start but the majority of riders will be on the road between the hours of 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. The route for this ride takes riders on multiple roads on the east side of Westport.

  • Designated Cooling Center Hours announced for Thursday and Friday

    The Westport Center for Senior Activities, 21 Imperial Ave., will be open to the public Thursday and Friday as an officially designated “cooling center” from 8:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. and on Friday, July 21 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m

  • Memorial Day Parade Schedule for Monday, May 29

    The Town of Westport Memorial Day Parade will begin at 9 a.m. on Riverside Avenue. The parade route travels north on Riverside Avenue, turns right onto Post Road East, then turns left onto Myrtle Avenue. Services will be held on Veterans Green immediately following the parade.

  • P&R Commission to Hold Special Meeting Thursday, May 25

    The Parks and Recreation Commission will hold a Special Public Meeting on Thursday, May 25 at 7:30 pm in the Town Hall auditorium. The purpose of the meeting is to determine whether to repair and renovate the current Compo Beach bathhouse and pavilion structure or replace the structure with a new facility.

    The Westport Weston Health District (WWHD) and Fairfield County Dermatologists will host its annual free Skin Cancer Screening on Sunday, May 7 from 9 – 11:30 a.m. at the Health District Offices. Screening is free and no appointment is necessary.

  • Senior Center Open Today as Warming Center Until 3 P.M.

    The Westport Center for Senior Activities will be open today as a warming center only from 8:30 to 3 pm. There will be NO classes or activities due to the storm. The public is welcome to come have a cup of coffee, utilize the internet and stay comfortable. Regular activities and classes will resume on Monday at 7:30 am.
