Conservation Commission Field Trip

NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP 
CONSERVATION COMMISSION 

The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Friday, September 9, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. for orientation purposes only to the following properties in preparation for reviewing the following agenda items at its September 14, 2022 Public Hearing:     
                        
1. 398 Greens Farms Road:  Application #WPL-11601-22 by Ahneman Kirby LLC on behalf of Gary Ashley Eng for a new single family residence, attached garage, patio and driveway. The proposed activity is partially within the WPLO area of Sasco Brook. 

2. 174 Hillspoint Road:  Application #IWW,WPL-11591-22 by Brian Nesteriak on behalf David & Gwen Baker for a new single family residence, driveway, pool, terrace, walkways, steps, retaining walls, utility pad and associated site improvements. The proposed activity is partially within the WPLO area of the Sherwood Mill Pond.

3. 296 Compo Road South:  Application #IWW,WPL-11559-22 by Andy Soumelidis of LandTech on behalf of Niv & Kim Harizman for a proposed new single family residence, in-ground swimming pool, driveway, and associated site improvements. Portions of the work are within the upland review area and the WPLO area of Grey’s Creek and the Saugatuck River. 

4. 51 Compo Beach Road:  Application #WPL-11596-22 by Peter Cadoux Architect on behalf of Peter & Sally Cadoux for a new single family residence, pool, driveway and associated site improvements. The proposed activity is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.


Members will meet at the sites in their own vehicles. The sites might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended. Due to COVID-19, Social Distancing will be practiced; anyone in attendance must wear a mask.
