LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION

WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION

MAY 20, 2020

Notice is hereby given that the Conservation Commission made the following decisions at its May 20, 2020 Public Hearing in conformance with the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act and the Town of Westport’s Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Wetlands and Watercourses and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance.

THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WERE APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS:

1. 8 Lone Pine Lane:Application #IWW/M-10961-20 by Yehuda E Elias to amend wetland boundary map # D11.
2. 20 Owenoke Park:Application #WPL-10957-20 by William Achilles, AIA on behalf of 1720 Owenoke LLC to modify the existing drive entrance, construct a pervious parking area, relocate the existing stone wall located along Owenoke Park entirely onto property, and new landscaping. Work is within the WPLO area of Gray’s Creek.
3. 16 Manitou Road:Application #WPL-10977-20 by Kousidis Engineering LLC on behalf of Alana Fuscaldo to construct a new garage, expand the driveway, modify the septic system and associated site improvements. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
4. 111 Harbor Road:Application #WPL-10992-20 by Richard Benson on behalf of Richard & Karen Leever to construct a pier separated by timber pilings, a hinged ramp, an 8’ by 20’ float attached to timber pilings and a set of removable stairs off the pier. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
