51st Westport Fine Arts Festival -TBD
The Westport Fine Arts Festival remains a highlight on the calendar of collectors from New England and Manhattan each year.
Original works in Painting, Watercolor, Photography, Sculpture, Drawing, Printmaking, Mixed Media, Glass, Ceramics, Fiber, Jewelry, Wood and Digital Art are displayed along the lovely Saugatuck River in beautiful downtown Westport. Live music, special performances, and children's activities make this a festival for everyone.

Memorial Day Parade - May 27, 2024
The 2024 Memorial Day Parade will begin promptly @9:00am. The route will be the same as previous years. Following the parade, ceremonies will take place on Veterans Green (across from Town Hall) and the reviewing stand will be in front of Town Hall.
Levitt Pavilion for the Performing Arts
The Levitt Pavilion is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization and they produce one of the largest and longest-running outdoor festivals in the nation! The Levitt Pavilion presents over 50 FREE shows under the stars, as well as the Stars-on-Tour series.

Independence Day Fireworks Celebration -
July 2, 2024 (Rain Date: July 3, 2024)
The PAL Fireworks take place at Compo Beach. This is a ticketed event and tickets can be purchased at the Westport Police Department beginning June 1st, 50 Jesup Road and at the Parks and Recreation Office beginning June 3rd, 260 Compo Road South. The fee is $50 per vehicle, cash or check only!!! TICKETS ARE SOLD OUT!

Westport Rotary Annual 15th Great Duck Race - June 29, 2024
The 15th Annual Duck Race takes place at Parker Harding Plaza in downtown Westport. There are prizes, face painting, food trucks, games and much more.

Westport YMCA Annual Point-to-Point Swim - July 28, 2024
An annual one mile open water race that is held at Compo Beach. The event is open to ages 10 and up.
All entrants will receive a T-shirt and awards will be given for the top male and female finishers in 14 different age groups.

Westport Library Book Sales - Online Sales and Periodically Outdoor Sales
Westport Library Book Sales are a long-standing community tradition, powered by a dedicated team of over 70 volunteers year-round, and over 200 additional volunteers who support the periodic book sales events.

Yankee Doodle Fair - June 13 thru June 16
Enjoy one of Westport's oldest and best loved family events. There will be carnival rides, food, face painting, bake sale and much more!

Westport Triathlon -September 8, 2024
This is a fun family friendly event open to all ability levels. The race is a beautiful and scenic flat course. Awards will be given out to all age groups in 1st to 3rd place. Race course consists of a 1/2 mile swim, 5.5 mile bike ride and a 2.2 mile run.

Lobster Fest! Saturday, September 21, 2024
The Westport Rotary Club is throwing their annual Lobster Fest at Compo Beach! 100% of the net proceeds benefit charitable organizations. Come out to enjoy lobsters, oysters, steak, burgers, beer, wine, soda, music, and family fun! It's going to be a blast!
Halloween Parade - October 29, 2024
Rain Date: October 30, 2024
The parade begins on Main Street and continues right onto Avery Place, then left onto Myrtle Avenue. Recommended for children up to age 8. Children may trick or treat along Main Street and in Town Hall. The parade ends on the Veterans Green (across from Town Hall). Parks and Recreation provides refreshments, a small gift for the children, along with entertainment.
