LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
NOVEMBER 18, 2015


Notice is hereby given of a meeting of the Westport Conservation Commission pursuant to the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act, and the Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Inland Wetlands and Watercourses of the Town of Westport (IWW Regulations) to be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 in the Room 201/201A at 7:00 p.m. of the Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue. The Commission shall meet to take such action under the purview of the Town’s IWW Regulations and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance as the meeting may determine with regard to the following:


Changes or Additions to the Agenda. The Commission may amend the agenda by a 2/3 vote to include items not requiring a Public Hearing.


Work Session I: 7:00 p.m., Room 201/201A (The work session is not a public hearing. The public is invited to attend but may not speak.) The following applications will be “received” by the Conservation Commission subject to determination of completion. A public hearing will not be opened at this time for the following applications:


1. Receipt of Applications
2. Approval of October 21, 2015 meeting minutes.
3. Report by Colin Kelly, Conservation Compliance Officer on the status of existing enforcement activity. 
4. Other Business


Public Hearing: 7:10 p.m., Room 201/201A. The following applications will be “received” by the Conservation Commission subject to determination of completion. If applications are determined to be complete the Commission will proceed by opening the hearing. (At this time interested parties may be heard after being recognized by the Chairman. Written communication may be received for all applications until the public hearing is closed.) Applications and plans may be examined in the Conservation Department, Room 205, Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.


1. 15 & 16 Fresenius Road:  Application IWW/M-10071-15 by Barr Associates on behalf of Patricia Davis to amend wetland boundary map F9. 
2. 36 Otter Trail:  Application #WPL-10104-15 by Jeffrey T Wood retain an existing 4 ft by 16 ft long fixed timber pier,  and legalize a 3 ft by 15 ft ramp and a 7 ft by 15 ft float. The activity is within the limits of the Saugatuck River. 
3. 114 Cross Highway, 104 Easton Road, 54 North Avenue, 443 Riverside Avenue, 48 Hillandale Road, 59 Richmondville Avenue, 4 Twin Oaks Lane, 5 Woodside Avenue, 27 Narrow Rock Road, 2 Pony Lane, 33 Green Acre Lane, 3 Pheasant Lane, 22 Pumpkin Hill Road, 6 Gault Park Drive, 26 Highland Road, 18 West Parish Road:  Application IWW/M-10100-15 by the Town of Westport on behalf of David Bunan & Maria E. Bunan; Mathissen Property; Alfred Popken; Charles Sherts; Chip Platz; Jonathan & Deborah Goodman; Lovin M. and Anisha Thomas; Tomas Brothers; Roger Brach; 2 Pony Lane, LLC; Coastal Construction Group; Dino Michetti; Richard A. and Patricia A. Rubenstein; Westport Building Company; Mark C Burton; and, William B and Elizabeth K Rubidge respectively, to amend wetland boundary map #E13, E17, F11, B06, F08, C12, A13, B10, D05, D15, D07, F17, F11, D13, G15 and F09 respectively. 


Work Session II: (The work session is not a public hearing. The public is invited to attend but may not speak.)


1. Other business.


The Commission may not open new business on the agenda after 11:00 p.m. at the discretion of the Chairman.  This includes applications scheduled for public hearings.  Items shall be continued or rescheduled to a later date as necessary.
