LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION


Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on September 2, 2015, the Westport Flood and Erosion Control Board took the following actions:


1. 18 Newtown Turnpike/Application IWW/WPL #10034-15; WITHDRAWN Application of Land-Tech Consultants for modifications to 2002 Permit IWW #6678-01 and 2007 Permit IWW/WPL #8147-07.
2. 10 Woodside Lane/Application IWW, WPL #10049-15; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of Becky Newman for the construction of an educational platform on the north side of a pond.  Work is within the WPLO setback of an unnamed pond.
3. 16 Owenoke Park/Application WPL #10057-15; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of Ian E. Warburg for the installation of a floating dock and ramp connected to a seawall.  Work is within the WPLO setback and 25 year floodline of Gray’s Creek (Saugatuck River).
4. 7 Compo Beach Road/Application WPL #10058-15; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS Application of Lucien Vita for the demolition of and existing single family residence and the construction of a new single family residence and associated improvements.  Work is within the WPLO setback and 25 year floodline of Gray’s creek (Saugatuck River).
5. 19 Spriteview Avenue/Application WPL #10065-15 APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS; Application of Douglas Bassett for a second floor addition to an existing residence, modified entranceways, and associated site improvements.  Work is within the WPLO setback and 25 year floodline of the Saugatuck River.
6. 305 Saugatuck Avenue/Application WPL #10067-15; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS  Application of Land-Tech Consultants for an addition to an existing house, decks, patios, a detached garage and associated site improvements.  Work is within the WPLO setback and 25 year floodline of the Saugatuck River.




Applications, plans and decisions may be examined in the Public Works Office, Room 210, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:30-4:30.
