The Board of Finance will hold its Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 8:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Town Hall. The following item(s), and any others properly presented before the Board, will be considered:
AGENDA
DISCUSSION/REVIEW
1. Financial Report from the Finance Director.
2. Status Update from the Internal Auditor.
3. A report from the Audit Sub-committee Chair.
APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 2013-2014 BUDGET
4. A request by the Town Attorney for an appropriation of $29,289.00 to the Heart and Hypertension Account (10109902-526501) for the negotiated settlement of Richard Frazier’s Worker’s Compensation and Heart and Hypertension matter.
5. A request by the Public Works Director for an appropriation of $56,000 with bond and note authorization to the Municipal Improvement Fund (MIF) Account (Joanne Circle, Clover Lane, & Acorn Lane) to complete engineering design of proposed sewer extension at Joanne Circle, Clover Lane and Acorn Lane.
6. A request by Emergency Management for an appropriation of $180,000 to the Capital and NonRecurring Fund Account (Police Generator) for a generator at the Police Station. The estimated reimbursable amount from FEMA is expected to be $119,325.
CALENDAR REVIEW
7. Review the proposed BOF calendar for 2014.

8. Approve the Board of Finance Minutes of the December 11, 2013 regular meeting.
