The Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:

PUBLIC HEARING

1. To elect Historic District Commission officers for the year 2013. 

2. To hear Chairman’s report and update on current HDC activities.  

3. To approve the minutes of the February 12, 2013 public hearing. 

4. To review comments made by the Planning and Zoning Commission and State Historic Preservation Office on the study report for proposed local historic designation at 25 Avery Place. 

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed exterior changes to a barn at 57 Wright Street located in the Kings Highway North Historic District. 

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for private driveway signage at   5, 5A, 5B, 5C, 5D and 5E Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District. 

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed installation of solar panels, installation of an electric vehicle charging station, and installation of a sign at the charging station for public notice at 61 Jesup Road located in the Jesup Road Historic District. 

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for proposed installation of a generator at Old Town Hall, 90 Post Road East located in the Jesup Road Historic District. 

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 10 Harding Lane. 

10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 3 Bluewater Hill. 

11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 3 Rustic Lane. 

12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 25 Norwalk Avenue. 

13. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 17 Dogwood Lane. 

14. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 95 Bayberry Lane.
