The Board of Selectmen and Water Pollution Control Authority meeting schedule is posted to the town's web calendar each February for the following 12 months.  See below for proposed standing meeting dates which are subject to change.  Consult the calendar as the meeting date approaches for agenda and updates.

LEGAL NOTICE & AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Thursday, June 14, 2012, at 4 p.m. in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):

1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of May 16, 2012; and to approve the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of May 16, 2012.

2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of monetary gifts from the Westport Young Woman’s League to the Westport Human Services Home Delivered Meals, Campership, Families in Need, Mentor Program and Project Go funds, in accordance with Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of monetary gifts from the Westport Young Woman’s League, Westport Weston Foundation and the Hurlbutt Memorial Funds to the Westport Human Services Campership funds, in accordance with Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of monetary gifts from the Westport Woman’s Club to the Westport Human Services Families In Need, Senior Client Needs Project Go and Senior Client Special Needs funds, in accordance with Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of monetary gifts from community residents and organizations to the Westport Human Services Campership, Ceremonies and Celebrations, and Community Services Corps funds, in accordance with Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of monetary gifts from the Church of the Assumption and the Westport Firefighters Golf Tournament to the Westport Human Services Families in Need and Holiday Meals funds, in accordance with Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of a monetary gift for the purchase of a border collie for the Longshore Golf Course from Caryl Betus to the Westport Parks & Recreation Department, in accordance with Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of a gift of improvements, including landscaping, sidewalk, lighting, and bench, on town-owned property adjacent to 115 Main Street across from intersection with Elm Street, from the Westport Downtown Merchants Association to the Town of Westport, in accordance with Policy for Gifts to the Town as amended Oct. 28, 1998.

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of town-owned property known as the Imperial Avenue parking lot, the library parking lot and the Levitt Pavilion for the Westport Downtown Merchants Association’s Annual Blues, Views & Barbeque Festival to be held on August 31, Sept. 1 and 2, 2012, contingent upon compliance with comments from town departments including the Westport/Weston Health District, and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways, as amended Sept. 15, 2010.

10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of town-owned property known as the north parking lot of the Saugatuck train station by Homes with Hope for a Westport Antique and Vintage Market on alternate Sundays starting in late June, contingent upon compliance with comments from various town departments including the Westport/Weston Health District and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways, as amended Sept. 15, 2010.

11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve and authorize Gordon F. Joseloff, First Selectman to execute and deliver in the name of and on behalf of the Town of Westport such contract with the Connecticut State Library for a Historic Documents Preservation Grant.

12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Municipal Audit Agreement between the Town of Westport and McGladrey & Pullen, LLP, appointed by the Board of Finance on May 23, 2012 pursuant to C.G.S. §7-396, to perform the Town Audit of 2011-2012 fiscal period.

13. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Pharmacy Benefit Management Services Agreement between the Town of Westport and MaxorPlus, as recommended by the Finance Director.

14. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve a sanitary sewer connection at property known as 66 Hillandale Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of May 30, 2012.

15. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve a sanitary sewer connection at property known as 10 Blue Water Hill, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of May 30, 2012.

16. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve a sanitary sewer connection at property known as 79 Richmondville Avenue, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of May 30, 2012..

17. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve a sanitary sewer connection at property known as 15 Yankee Hill Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of May 30, 2012.
