LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION
WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION
APRIL 18, 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Conservation Commission made the following decisions at its April 18, 2012 public hearing in conformance with the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act and the Town of Westport’s Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Wetlands and Watercourses and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance.
THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WERE APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS:
1. 8 Manitou Court: Application #WPL-9066-12 by Roberge Associates Coastal Engineers, LLC on behalf of Ken and Barbara Utting for repair of an existing seawall, planting of a vegetated stabilization slope and an in-kind reconstruction of a pier, ramp and floating dock. Work is within the WPLO area, the 25 year and the 100 year floodplain of the Saugatuck River.
2. 207 Hillspoint Road: Application #WPL-9067-12 by Barr Associates, LLC on behalf of Hideko Kamino & Howard Rateck for the demolition of the existing house and patio and the construction of a new single family residence, deck and a/c shelf with associated site improvements. Work is within the WPLO area, the 25 year and the 100 year floodplain of the Sherwood Mill Pond.
Application, plans, and decision may be examined in the Conservation Department, Room 205, Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. excluding holidays.
