LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION
WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION
March 21, 2012
Notice is hereby given that the Conservation Commission made the following decisions at its March 21, 2012 public hearing in conformance with the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act and the Town of Westport’s Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Wetlands and Watercourses and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance.
THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WERE APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS:
1. 0 Darbrook Road, Assessor PID # E11004000: CONTINUED APPLICATION – Application #IWW/M-8978-11 by George A Frank of Westport Building Co, LLC to amend wetland boundary map E-11.
2. 28 Crawford Road: Application #IWW/M-9040-12 by Barr Associates LLC on behalf of Michael & April Book to amend wetland boundary map #A12.
3. 11 Woodside Lane: Application #IWW/M-9042-12 by Thomas Wormser on behalf of 11 Woodside Lane LLC to amend wetland boundary map #A10.
4. 105 Harbor Road: Application #WPL-9016-12 by Roberge Associates Coastal Engineers on behalf of Herbert Vanwyngaarden for the installation of a new gangway and floating dock attached to the waterward terminaus of an existing pier. Work is with the WPLO area, the 25 year and the 100 year flood zone of the Saugatuck River.
5. 11 Woodside Lane: Application #IWW,WPL/E-9043-12 by Thomas Wormser on behalf of 11 Woodside Lane LLC for the demolition and construction of a 3-story house over and existing foundation with a new addition and porch to the rear of the house, to enlarge the shed and to eliminate the pool. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks.
6. 43 Compo Mill Cove: Application #WPL-9044-12 by Peter Wormser on behalf of Andrea Friedman & Doug Ekenberg to raise the existing house to conform with FEMA requirements, to add a small addition over the existing first floor and deck and to remove the existing ramps. Work is within the WPLO area, the 25 year and the 100 year floodplain of the Sherwood Mill Pond.
7. 2-8 Post Road West: Application #WPL-9055-12 by Redniss and Mead, Inc. on behalf of NatHall 28PR LLC for the construction of a building addition, new hardscape and landscape improvements and reconfiguration of an existing building entrance. Work is within the WPLO area, the 25 year flood and the 100 year floodplain of the Saugatuck River.
Application, plans, and decision may be examined in the Conservation Department, Room 205, Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. excluding holidays.
