Conservation Commission Field Trip

NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP 
CONSERVATION COMMISSION

The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. to the following properties for orientation purposes only in preparation for reviewing the following agenda items at its April 13, 2022 meeting:                             

1. 109 Morningside Drive South:  Application #IWW-11489-22 by Eric Bernheim, Esq. on behalf of Kowalsky Family Company LLC for a re-subdivision into 6 lots for single family dwellings. The application will be reviewed for wetland and water quality impact recommendations to the Planning & Zoning Commission. 

2. 31 Hogan Trail:  Application #IWW,WPL-11490-22 by Kousidis Engineering, LLC on behalf of Daniel Sixsmith for a new single-family residence with attached garage, associated driveway, new drainage and septic systems. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks and the WPLO area of Indian Brook. 

3. 17 Over Rock Lane: (if necessary)  Continued Application: Application #IWW,WPL/E-11469-22 by Tessa Jucaite, PE, TJ Engineering LLC, on behalf of Howard & Bathsheva Hochster for a garage reconstruction, retaining walls, drainage, and grading. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks. 

4. 16 Lone Pine Lane & 85 Compo Road North:  Determination of type of application and review for a sanitary sewer extension from Compo Road North to Lone Pine Lane by the Westport Department of Public Works. (Parking at 85 Compo Rd. North.) 

Members will meet at the sites in their own vehicles. The site might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended. Due to COVID-19, Social Distancing will be practiced; anyone in attendance must wear a mask.
