The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 9:30 a.m. to the following property for orientation purposes only in preparation for reviewing the following agenda items at its

February 9, 2022 meeting and future Show Cause Hearing for:
- 59 Red Coat Road:Application #IWW,WPL/E-11446-21 by LandTech on behalf of RMF Builders LLC to modify Permit #IWW,WPL/E-11237-21 for a new single-family residence on a vacant lot, driveway, pool and patio surrounded by a retaining wall and instead, construct a new single family residence, driveway, eliminate the pool and replace with enlarged patio still surrounded by retaining wall and serve house with a private drinking water well rather than connect to public water supply. Portions of the work are within the upland review area.
- 9 Lakeview Road:In accordance with section 15.4 of the “Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Wetlands and Watercourses of the Town of Westport (“The Regulations”), a Show Cause Hearing of the Westport Conservation Commission is being held in response to a Cease & Correct Order issued to the property owners for replacement of a pipe, trenching and deposition of fill within the wetlands without permits, thereby in violation of Sections 4.2.1 1 (a), (c), and (e), 7.1 and 7.3 (h) of “The Regulations” and Section 30-89 and 30-124 of the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance of the Code of Ordinances for the Town of Westport.
Members will meet at the sites in their own vehicles. The site might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended. Due to COVID-19, Social Distancing will be practiced; anyone in attendance must wear a mask.
