Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut for the following additional purpose:
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine in accordance with Chapter 50 Article IV, STREETS AND SIDEWALKS. Sec. 50-412 Appeals, to review the appeal of decision of the Director of Public Works’ designee dated January 10, 2023, to replace the deficient condition of the sidewalk adjacent to the property at 993 Post Road East in accordance with Town standards, submitted on behalf of 991-995 Post Road East, LLC.

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Comments from the public regarding agenda items may be sent to selectwoman@westportct.gov prior to the meeting. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items (subject to revision):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and Water Pollution Control Authority’s meeting of January 11, 2023.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request for a waiver under the Town Policy on Encroachments on Town Property (the “Policy”) as it relates to sections of a fieldstone wall at 174 Hillspoint Road that encroach a total length of approximately 75 feet on the town right-of-way adjacent to the property, contingent upon compliance with the Policy and execution of an Encroachment Easement satisfactory to the Town Attorney’s Office.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request for a waiver under the Town Policy on Encroachments on Town Property (the “Policy”) as it relates to a portion of entry stairs, handicapped ramp, and retaining wall that is proposed to encroach on the town right-of-way adjacent to 177 Main Street, contingent upon compliance with the Policy and execution of an Encroachment Easement satisfactory to the Town Attorney’s Office.
4. Acting in its capacity as the Local Traffic Authority, to approve the Municipal Roadway Sign Agreement between the Town of Westport and Housatonic Heritage as it relates to installation of MUTCD signage for the Housatonic Heritage US Bicycle Route 7 directional sign program.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the Award of Contract for Bid 22-056T, State Project No. L158-0002, LOTCIP, Sidewalk Improvement on Main Street (Route 57) and Compo Road North (Route136), Town of Westport.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of 2020 and 2021 Grand List Real Estate, Personal Property, and Motor Vehicle taxes, as presented.
7. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the supplemental sanitary sewer connection at #254 Saugatuck Avenue contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Collection System Supervisor’s letter of January 10, 2023.
