Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Local Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be audio recorded and uploaded to the website following the meeting. Agenda to include the following items (subject to revision):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s meeting of July 27, 2022.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town property and roadways known as Jesup Green, Imperial Avenue Parking Lot, Riverwalk, Jesup Road and Imperial Avenue on Saturday, October 22, 2022 from 8 am to 1 pm for the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention’s Out of the Darkness Walk to Fight Suicide, contingent upon compliance with recommendations from Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the closure of a portion of the Town roadway known as Elm Street and the closure of the Town Property known as Sigrid Schultz Plaza from Friday, October 14, 2022 (set up) through Sunday, October 16, 2022 (breakdown) for the Westport Downtown Association’s Westoberfest – New England Craft Beer Festival and Family Event scheduled for Saturday, October 15, 2022, contingent upon compliance with recommendations from Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, to approve the contract between the Town of Westport and Air Cleaning Specialist of New England, LLC for installation of four (4) Source Capture Emergency Vehicle Exhaust Fume Removal Systems at Town firehouses.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of 2020 and 2021 Grand List Year Real Estate, Personal Property and Motor Vehicle taxes, as presented.
