Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectwomen, Local Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 9:00 AM in the Westport Town Hall Auditorium, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Westport, Connecticut. It will be livestreamed on www.westportct.gov and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020. Agenda to include the following items (subject to revision):
Introduction of newly appointed and outgoing Town of Westport Poet Laureates.
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Board of Selectwomen’s and Water Pollution Control Authority’s meeting of June 8, 2022.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request for a waiver to the Westport Driveway Ordinance (Town Code Sec. 50-340, Article II. Driveways) as it relates to the driveway at 64 Long Lots Road.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request from the Remarkable Theatre, LLC for the use of the of the Town-owned property known as Imperial Avenue Parking Lot for “Phase 2” dates, July 1 – November 30, 2022, for the Remarkable Theatre Drive-In.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to Town, to accept a donation in excess of $5,001 to the Human Services Department.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Department of Human Services, to certify the Town of Westport’s grant application SC2015803 and other related documents for COVID-19 Funding (Sc Cdbg- Cv) Under The Cares Act through the CT Department of Housing/Small Cities Community Development Block Grant.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Lease Agreement between the Town of Westport and the Westport Police Athletic League (PAL) as it relates to the Town-owned property known as Doubleday Field House at PJ Romano Athletic Field located at 170 Riverside Avenue.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Agreement between the Town and DebtBook.

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine, to award a contract to John J. Brennan Construction Company, in the amount of $493,810, for the Avery Place Utility Burial project, Bid #22-042T, subject to Town Attorney Review.

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Collector and in accordance with C.G.S. Sec. 12-129, to approve the refunds of overpayments of 2020 Grand List Year Real Estate and Motor Vehicle taxes, as presented.
