LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA

Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 10, 2012 in Town Hall Room 309 for the following purposes:

PUBLIC HEARING

1. To hear Chairman’s report and update on current HDC activities.

2. To approve the minutes of the June 12, 2012 public hearing.

3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated June 28, 2012 for proposed specific site modifications at 80 Wright Street c.1854, the Allen Renoud/Aaron Bennett House in the Kings Highway North Historic District.

4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness dated June 28, 2012 for proposed exterior modifications at 80 Wright Street c.1854, the Allen Renoud/Aaron Bennett House in the Kings Highway North Historic District.

5. On behalf of the Town of Westport and a request by First Selectman Gordon Joseloff, to form a study committee for the proposed local historic landmark property designation of the Minuteman Statue located at the intersection of Compo Road South and Compo Beach Road.

6. On behalf of the Westport Historic Society and a request by President Susan Walton Wynkoop, to form a study committee for the proposed local historic landmark property designation of the Wheeler House and Barn at 25 Avery Place.

7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 9 Highpoint Road.

8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 19 Buena Vista Drive.

9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to reconsider waiving the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 4 Stony Brook Road.

10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 115 Roseville Road.

11. To discuss nominations for the Annual Preservation Awards.
