NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP – RESCHEDULING
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
The Westport Conservation Commission site visit initially scheduled for Friday, February 12, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. has been rescheduled to Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. due to the prediction of inclement weather. The following properties will be visited for orientation purposes only in preparation for reviewing agenda items at its February 17, 2021 meeting:
- 23 Bermuda Road:Application #WPL-11190-21 by Ritzzo Development LLC on behalf of Mark Altschuler to construct a new single-family residence, garage, driveway, patio, pool, sewer connection, and stormwater management. The proposed activity lies within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
- 4 Maplegrove Avenue:Application #WPL-11193-21 by Christopher Cocco on behalf of 4 Maplegrove Avenue LLC to construct a new single-family residence, permeable patio, deck, sanitary sewer connection, grading and drainage. The proposed activity lies within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
- 118 Wilton Road:Application #WPL-11194-21 by Tom Ryder of LandTech on behalf of Victoria Fuller to legalize fill already placed within the WPL and to construct an additional retaining wall and place additional fill.
- 59 Red Coat Road: (if necessary)Continued Application: Application #IWW-11085-20 by Pete Romano of LandTech on behalf of Kevin M Dorsey for new single-family residence, pool, patio, driveway, septic and associated drainage. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks.
- 36 Bonnie Brook Road: (if necessary) Continued Application: Application #IWW,WPL-11135-20 by Kousidis Engineering, LLC on behalf of Audrey Rabinowitz for a proposed single family residence with attached garage, driveway and pool with associated site improvements. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks and the WPLO area of Silver Brook.
Members will meet at the site in their own vehicles. Some sites might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended. Due to COVID-19, Social Distancing will be practiced; anyone in attendance must wear a mask.
