Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority, and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at 9:00 AM. Pursuant to the Governor’s Executive Order No. 7B, there is no physical location for this meeting. It will be held electronically, live streamed on www.westportct.gov, and broadcast on Westport’s Optimum Government Access Channel 79 and Frontier Channel 6020.  Emails to the Board of Selectmen prior to the meeting may be sent to selectman@westportct.gov. Comments to be read during the public comment portion of the meeting may be emailed to BOScomments@westportct.gov. Best efforts will be made to read public comments if they are received during the public comment period, include your name and are brief; no longer than 3 minutes. Agenda to include but not be limited to the following items and is subject to revision:

 

  1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s and Water Pollution Control Authority’s meetings of April 28, 2021.

     

  2. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Westport Arts Advisory Committee and in accordance with the Policy on Gifts to the Town, Section 3(c), to approve and accept the following gifts of artworks for the Town of Westport Art Collection:

     

    1. Howard Heath, Merritt Parkway Bridge, c. 1938, watercolor
    2. Larry Silver, 32 gelatin silver prints of Yangzhou, China, 1996-1999
    3. 17 works on paper and 1 oil painting by James Daugherty
    4. 16 works (1 silkscreen, 3 paintings, 12 shadowboxes) by Naiad and Walter Einsel
    5. 5 works by artists from Westport (Patricia Pelton, Jak Kovatch (2), Marlene Siff, Sophie Acheson)
    6. 9 works of art (watercolors and ink drawings) by Hardie Gramatky and 1 ink drawing by Marie Abrams Lawson
    7. Village @ Ntonso, Mixed Media by Charles Joyner
    8. Christa Forest, Don't Judge Me, Acrylic mixed media on canvas, Jerri Graham, Campaign Glow, 2020 and Sisters, 2020, photographs
    9. 25 serigraphs (c. 1972) by artist Richard Hunt

       

       

  3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request from the Westport Library to use the Town owned Jesup Road parking lot on Sunday, July 11, 2021 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm for the Westport Artists Collective Exhibit Trunk Sale, contingent upon compliance with recommendations from Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.

     

  4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Amendment to the Software License, Conversion and Hosting Agreement between the Town of Westport and enCodePlus, LLC, dated May 11, 2018, to add optional new features to the online hosting of Westport’s Zoning and Subdivision Regulations.

     

  5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Award of Design Contract for RFP #21-015T (Sanitary Sewer Contract 75, Engineering Services and Final Designs and Construction Engineering - Tasks 1-2) in the amount of $46,500.00 to AI Engineers of Middletown Connecticut.

     

  6. To take such action as the meeting may determine upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve the award of contract for Bid #21-022T (Fuel Station and Fuel Oil Storage Tank Upgrades) in the amount of $455,800.00 to American Petroleum Equipment and Construction Company for construction of the Parsell Public Works Center fueling station and heating oil tanks.
