LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION

WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION

 FEBRUARY 17, 2021

 Notice is hereby given that the Conservation Commission made the following decisions at its February 17, 2021 Public Hearing in conformance with the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act and the Town of Westport’s Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Wetlands and Watercourses and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance.

 

THE FOLLOWING APPLICATIONS WERE APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS:

 

  1. 17 Mortar Rock Road:Application #IWW/M-11195-21 by David Vynerib, CCO Habitats, LLC on behalf of Thomas E Tighe to amend wetland boundary map #D7.

     

  2. 36 Bonnie Brook Road:Application #IWW,WPL-11135-20 by Kousidis Engineering, LLC on behalf of Audrey Rabinowitz for a proposed single family residence with attached garage, driveway and pool and patio and surrounding retaining wall with associated site improvements. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setbacks and the WPLO area of Silver Brook.

     

  3. 23 Bermuda Road:Application #WPL-11190-21 by Ritzzo Development LLC on behalf of Mark Altschuler to construct a new single-family residence with attached garage, driveway, patio, pool, sewer connection, and stormwater management. The proposed activity lies within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.

     

  4. 4 Maplegrove Avenue:Application #WPL-11193-21 by Christopher Cocco on behalf of 4 Maplegrove Avenue LLC to construct a new single-family residence, permeable patio, deck, sanitary sewer connection, grading, retaining walls and drainage. The proposed activity lies within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.

     

  5. 118 Wilton Road:Application #WPL-11194-21 by Tom Ryder of LandTech on behalf of Victoria Fuller to legalize fill and boulder wall already placed within the WPL and to continue with construction of an additional retaining wall and repair pre-standing wall and install level spreader.
