LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION
SPECIAL MEETING
MAY 9, 2019

Notice is hereby given of a Special Meeting of the Westport Conservation Commission pursuant to the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act, and the Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Inland Wetlands and Watercourses of the Town of Westport (IWW Regulations) to be held on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in the auditorium of the Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue. The Commission shall meet to take such action under the purview of the Town’s IWW Regulations and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance as the meeting may determine with regard to the following:

Special Meeting: 7:00 p.m., The Auditorium, The following applications will be “received” by the Conservation Commission subject to determination of completion. If applications are determined to be complete the Commission will proceed by opening the hearing. (At this time interested parties may be heard after being recognized by the Chairman. Written communication may be received for all applications until the public hearing is closed.) Applications and plans may be examined in the Conservation Department, Room 205, Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
ADDED: Work Session: Request by Morningside Drive Homes LLC on behalf of Green Farms Developers LLC & Morningside Drive Homes LLC to MODIFY:  20 Morningside Dr. South,  Approval #AA, WPL/E-10544-18 for construction of a new house, driveway, fencing and drainage appurtenances with studio building to remain and   26 Morningside Dr. South, Approval #IWW,WPL/E-10569-18 for the subdivision of one, 2.37 acre parcel into three (3) individual parcels. All work would be outside regulated areas associated with Muddy Brook. 

Public Hearing:

1. 20-26 Morningside Drive South:  Continuance of Application #IWW,WPL/E-10768-19 by Morningside Drive Homes LLC on behalf of Green Farms Developers LLC & Morningside Drive Homes LLC for a set-aside development pursuant to CGS Section 8-30g of 16 townhouse-style condominiums and related site improvements. Portions of the work are within the upland review area setback. The hearing for this application will be continued to a future date. No testimony will be taken. 


The Commission may not open new business on the agenda after 10:00 p.m. at the discretion of the Chairman.  This includes applications scheduled for public hearings.  Items shall be continued or rescheduled to a later date as necessary.
