Conservation Commission Notice of Field Trip

NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP 
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
 
The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Friday, July 13, 2018 at 9:15 a.m. to the following properties for orientation purposes only in preparation for reviewing agenda items at its July 18, 2018 meeting:


1. 111 Harbor Road:  Application #WPL-10621-18 by Richard Benson on behalf of Richard & Karen Leever for the demolition of the existing house and pool and construction of a new house, pool and related site appurtenances. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River. 

2. 28, 36, 38, 39, 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 47, Parcel A05 Lot 4 and Parcel A05 Lot 5 Hiawatha Lane:  Application #IWW,WPL-10619-18 by Summit Saugatuck LLC on behalf of Saugatuck Summit LLC, Anne M. Mantia, Estate of Crystal Christensen, Hannelore Walsh, Frank P Bottone and David H Ogilvy for a proposed 187-unit multi-family rental development presented in five buildings with associated site improvements. 

3. 15 Roosevelt Road:  Application #WPL-10626-18 by William Achilles, AIA on behalf of 15 Roosevelt LLC, for the demolition of the existing house and construction of a new 2-story single-family residence with attached garage, pool, patios and related site appurtenances. The proposed activity is within the WPLO area of Grey’s Creek. 

4. 286 Compo Road South:  (If necessary) Continuation of Application #WPL-10627-18 by William Green & Linda Durakis for driveway improvements and parking area expansion. The proposed activity is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.


Members will meet at the Conservation Department first to carpool. Some sites might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended.
