LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION

Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on May 2, 2018, the Westport Flood & Erosion Control Board took the following actions:

  1. 286 Compo Road South/ Application WPL #10567-18; APPROVED; Application of William Green and Linda Durakis for driveway improvements and parking area expansion within the WPLO.  The proposed activity is within the WPL area for the Saugatuck River.
  2. 7 Belaire Drive / Application WPL #10586-18; APPROVED; Application of Chris O’Dell, on behalf of the owner, 7 Belaire Dr. LLC, for the construction of a new dwelling and associated site appurtenances within the WPLO.  The proposed activity is within the WPL area for the Saugatuck River.
  3. 9 Beachside Common/ Application WPL #10591-18; APPROVED; Application of Artemis Landscape Architects, on behalf of the owners Margaret & Michael Shwabe, to rebuild an existing stone wall and replace a fence within the WPLO.  The proposed activity is within the WPL area for both New Creek and Mill Creek.
  4.  28 Owenoke Park/ Application WPL #10593-18; APPROVED; Application of the owners, Julian Robins, for the installation of a fixed pier, ramp, and floating dock within the within the WPLO.  The proposed activity is within the WPL area for the Gray’s Creek.
  5. 3 Lakeview Drive/ Application WPL #10569-18; WITHDRAWN; Application of Peter Romano of LANDTECH, on behalf of the owner James Franco, for the construction of a new house and associated site appurtenances within the WPLO.  The proposed activity is within the WPL area for Pussy Willow Brook.

        I.            WORK SESSION

  1. Upon completion of the PUBLIC HEARING session above, the public is invited to observe, but may not participate, while the Flood & Erosion Control Board discusses the above listed applications.

Applications, plans, and decisions may be examined in the Public Works Office, Room 210, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
