Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on: Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at 10 a.m., in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of July 27, 2011.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of a monetary gift from the Westport Young Woman’s League to the Westport Human Services Family Program/Campership Fund, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, as amended Oct. 28,. 1998.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the Town of Westport and Operation Fuel, Inc. as recommended by the Human Services Department.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a residential lease agreement for town-owned property known as 260 Compo Road South, Cabin 9, for a period of three years and as recommended by the Parks & Recreation Department.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an amendment to the Power Purchase Agreement between the Town of Westport and TransCanada Power Marketing, Ltd. as relates to providing the quoted blended electrical rate, and to authorize First Selectman Gordon F. Joseloff to sign such documentation on behalf of the Town of Westport, as recommended by the Finance Department.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an application for the 2010 Emergency Management Performance Grant, sub-grant award #010E158A in the amount of $26,592, with the State of Connecticut Department of Emergency Management and Homeland Security, and further to authorize First Selectman Gordon F. Joseloff to sign such documentation on behalf of the Town of Westport.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a contract between the Town of Westport and Kowalsky Brothers Construction, Inc. of Westport for the construction of the Richmondville Road Culvert Replacement project as recommended by the Public Works Department.
