Notice is hereby given that the Westport Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public meeting on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at 9:00 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purposes:
1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public meeting of January 24, 2018.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the request to use various Town-owned properties and roadways (as indicated in the application) from Tuesday, April 17 (for set up) through Saturday, April 21, 2018 for the Maker Faire sponsored by Remarkable Steam, contingent upon compliance with comments from various Town Departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town Property, Facilities and Public Roadways.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve extensions to no later than April 30, 2018 to the Agreements related to the use of Town property and the construction at 36 Old Mill Road as follows: (i) the temporary construction easement between the Town of Westport and Buttendorf Building & Remodeling, LLC, dated November 15, 2017; and (ii) the consent agreement between the Town and the property owners agreeing that the Town will not use the easement around the westerly and northerly sides of the dwelling, dated November 15, 2017.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the designation of (i) eight (8) parking spaces located on the northbound side of the Town roadway known as Hillspoint Road between its intersection at the vicinity of 246 Hillspoint Road and Compo Hill Avenue as “Beach Emblem Parking ONLY from 9 AM and 5 PM between May 1 and September 30”; and (ii) two (2) spaces located in the northern most spaces at the intersection of Hillspoint and Compo Hill Avenue as “15 Minute Parking Only between May 1 and September 3.”
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Encroachment Agreement between the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation and the Town of Westport as it relates to construction and maintenance of sidewalks, curbing and other streetscape enhancements located along CT Route 1 (Post Road East) from the Saugatuck River east to Imperial Avenue.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to set a public hearing date to determine final benefit assessments for the extension and installation of a public water main (Contract No. W6) to be levied on those affected properties located on Quarter Mile Road.

7. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to schedule a date for a Preliminary Benefit Assessment Hearing as it relates to the Sanitary Sewer Extension Project (Contract No. 71), which will service properties located in all or part of the following areas: Clinton Avenue, Fillow Street, Breezy Knoll, Richmondville Avenue, Sniffen Road, Loren Lane, Calumet Road, Stone Drive.
8. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to set a public hearing date to consider proposed assessments and to determine final assessments to be levied for the construction or acquisition of sewerage system(s) affecting supplemental sanitary sewer connections approved during 2017.
9. Acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve the request for a supplemental sanitary sewer connection at property known as 9 Ellery Lane, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of January 29, 2018.
