NOTICE OF FIELD TRIP
CONSERVATION COMMISSION
The Westport Conservation Commission will conduct a site visit on Friday, January 12, 2018 at 10:30 a.m. to the following properties for orientation purposes only in preparation for reviewing agenda items at its January 17, 2018 meeting:
1.20 Morningside Drive South: Application #AA,WPL-10511-17 by Barr Associates on behalf of Greens Farms Developers, LLC for construction of a new house, driveway, fencing and drainage appurtenances with the existing studio building to remain.
2.ADDED: 21 Duck Pond Rd: Request by John Jones Architect on behalf of contract purchaser, Jennifer Strom Simonte, for an administrative approval pursuant to the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance to construct a 200 sq. ft. addition over an existing 2nd story deck supported by new pier footings, (no continuous foundation walls.) Work is proposed within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
3.IF NECESSARY - 54 Wilton Road: Application #WPL-10528-17 by William J Fitzpatrick on behalf of STC Green, LLC for site improvements accompanying renovation of southerly portion of existing building, demolition of northerly portion of existing building and construction of residential housing. Work is within the WPLO area of the Saugatuck River.
Members will meet at the Conservation Department first to carpool. Some sites might be especially wet and or be prone to ticks so appropriate clothing and footwear is recommended.
