LEGAL NOTICE OF DECISION


Notice is hereby given that at a meeting held on December 6, 2017, the Westport Flood & Erosion Control Board took the following actions:


1. 149 Riverside Avenue / Application WPL #10504-17; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS; Application of the owner Janet Sparre, for a two story addition, and reconfiguration of the driveway. The proposed activity is within the WPL area for the Saugatuck River.


2. 3 Pebble Beach Lane / Application WPL #10510-17; CONTINUED; Application of Vincent Monti, on behalf of the owner, Michael Ritzzo, for the construction of a new 14’ x 33’ swimming pool and 18’ x 18’ stone patio area.  The proposed activity is within the WPL area for the Saugatuck River.


3. 20 Morningside Drive South / Application WPL #10511-17; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS; Application of Barr Associates, LLC, on behalf of the owner, Greens Farms Developers, LLC, for the construction of a new house, driveway, fencing, drainage facilities with the existing studio to remain.  The proposed activity is within the WPL area of Muddy Brook.


4. 3 Charmer’s Landing / Application WPL #10507-17; APPROVED;  Application of John Hilts, on behalf of the owner Jason Carter, for the legalization of an 8’ x 20’ timber floating dock.


5. 119 Riverside Avenue / Application WPL #10508-17; APPROVED WITH CONDITIONS;  Application of John Hilts, on behalf of the owner Chiara Rudzin for the construction of 3’ x 5’ timber steps, 1.5’ x 4’ piling-supported timber ramp landing, 32” x 30’ aluminum ramp, 5’ x 6’ timber ramp landing float, and 8’ x 12.5’ piling anchored timber floating dock.


I. WORK SESSION


1. Upon completion of the PUBLIC HEARING session above, the public is invited to observe, but may not participate, while the Flood & Erosion Control Board discusses the above listed applications.


Applications, plans, and decisions may be examined in the Public Works Office, Room 210, Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 4:30 pm.
