LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA
WESTPORT CONSERVATION COMMISSION
PUBLIC HEARING
JULY 31, 2017


Notice is hereby given of a Special Meeting of the Westport Conservation Commission pursuant to the Connecticut Inland Wetlands and Watercourses Act, the Regulations for the Protection and Preservation of Inland Wetlands and Watercourses of the Town of Westport (IWW Regulations) and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance to be held on Monday, July 31, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. in Room 201/201A of the Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue. The Commission shall meet to take such action under the purview of the Town’s IWW Regulations and the Waterway Protection Line Ordinance as the meeting may determine with regard to the following:


Public Hearing: 7:00 p.m., Room 201/201A.  (At this time interested parties may be heard after being recognized by the Chairman. Written communication may be received for all applications until the public hearing is closed.) 


1. 107 Old Road: Application #IWW, WPL-10450-17 by LANDTECH on behalf of the Estate of Catherine D. Fleming for a proposed 4-lot open space residential subdivision served by a private road, public sewer and public water. The site contains an unnamed tributary to Sasco Brook and associated wetlands.  


2. 27 Darbrook Road: Continuation and Deliberation of Application #IWW, WPL-10421-17 by LandTech on behalf of Robert & Jennifer Bowman for the construction of a 43 ft. x 61 ft. sports court with associated stormwater drainage system. Portion of the work are within the upland review area and the WPLO area of a tributary to Deadman’s Brook.


Work Session (Immediately following the close of the public hearing.) 


1. 3 Quentin Road. To amend  special condition of approval #16 as set forth in Resolution  #WPL - 10435-17 dated July 19, 2107, (approving a lap pool) in order to correct the reference to a map by deleting the reference to the map entitled “Existing Conditions Plot Plan Prepared for Bruce R. Becker, 3 Quentin Road, Westport, Connecticut’ Scale 1”=20’ dated December 18, 2015 and last revised to June 14, 2016, prepared by Leonard Surveyors, LLC” and substituting therefor reference to the map entitled “Proposed Plot Plan” prepared for Bruce R. Becker, 3 Quentin Road, Westport, Connecticut, Scale: 1”=20’, dated June 14, 2017, prepared by Leonard Surveyors, LLC.






Applications and plans may be examined in the Conservation Department, Room 205, Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue, during regular business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
