BOARD OF FINANCE
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
The Board of Finance will hold its Public Meeting on Wednesday, April 5, 2017, at 8:00 p.m. in Room 201/201A of Town Hall for the following purpose:
AGENDA
1. To approve the Board of Finance Minutes of the March 1, 2017 Regular Meeting.
2. Financial Report from the Finance Director. (Discussion Only)
3. Status Update from the Audit Manager. (Discussion Only)
4. Upon the request of the Director of Public Works, to approve an appropriation in the amount of $2,500,000 along with bond and note authorization to the Municipal Improvement Fund Account # 30503330-500296 for the replacement of the existing 40 +/- year old force main serving Pump Station #2. The project will be conducted over the next five to six years to address infrastructure needs within the water collection system.
5. Upon the request of the Superintendent of Schools, to authorize the expenditure of $107,904.70 from the Board of Education Carryover Account to cover the cost of additional mold remediation incurred at Coleytown Middle School so as to meet the conditions necessitated by the terms of the Memorandum of Agreement dated August 31, 2015, between the Board of Education and the Board of Finance creating the Carryover Account.
6. The Board will consider any requests for restoration of sums removed from the Budget by the Board at its March 15, 2017, and March 16, 2017, Budget Hearings.
The Board will approve the “BOF Recommended Budget for Fiscal Year 2017-2018” as follows:
a. General Fund
b. Wakeman Farm
c. Railroad Parking Fund
d. Sewer Fund
Note: The practice for upcoming BOF regular meetings will be to close the meetings at 10:00 PM. Motions to extend individual meetings can be heard.
