The CT Energy Assistance Program (CEAP), Connecticut’s federally-funded energy assistance program, is now available to all income-eligible residents. Contactless applications are available to all eligible households.  Program begins October 1, 2021.  Details to follow shortly.

All required documents can be sent via mail or email to Westport’s Department of Human Services 

Household gross income of less than 60 percent of the state median and liquid assets that do not exceed $15K qualify residents for this program.

Residents who may be over income by CEAP guidelines, may be considered for heating assistance from Westport’s Warm Up Fund. Applicants are reviewed on a case-by-case basis after supplying the required documentation including proof of gross income, liquid assets and last year’s tax return.
