On behalf of the Westport Historic District Commission (HDC), The Public Archaeology Laboratory, Inc. (PAL) prepared a report of planning recommendations for Westport Center. PAL completed this work as part of a multi-component project that involved architectural surveys in Westport Center, the King’s Highway Historic District and other areas throughout town. . The State Historic Preservation Office, in the Department of Economic and Community Development, fully financed the project through a Certified Local Government Supplemental Grant.
