Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1.To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of June 17, 2015 and the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of June 17, 2015.
2.Acting as the Traffic Authority, to take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the closure of the Town-owned roadway known as Taylor Place on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 8 a.m. to midnight, for the Levitt Pavilion’s Annual Gala Event pre-concert reception, contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant Town Departments and in accordance with the Policy for Use of Town-owned Properties, Facilities and/or Roadways.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the closure of Town-owned property known as the Riverwalk on Saturday, July 25, 2015 from 8 a.m. to midnight, for the load-in, set up, technical rehearsal and performance for the Levitt Pavilion’s Annual Gala Event, contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant Town Departments and in accordance with the Policy for Use of Town-owned Properties, Facilities and/or Roadways.
4.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town-owned properties known as the Upper Library Parking Lot and a portion of the Upper Imperial Avenue Parking Lot from Friday, September 4, 2015 at 7 a.m. through Sunday, September 6, 2015 at midnight, for the Blues, Views and BBQ Festival, contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant Town Departments and in accordance with the Policy for Use of Town-owned Properties, Facilities and/or Roadways.
5.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the closure of the Town-owned roadway known as Railroad Place on Saturday, September 12, 2015 (rain date September 19, 2015) between the hours of 12 noon and 3 pm by the Westport-Weston Chamber of Commerce for “Slice of Saugatuck” event, contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant town departments and in accordance with the Procedures for Use of Town-Owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
6.To approve the Exclusive Right to Sell Agreement between CTRE LLC d/b/a Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices New England Properties and the Town of Westport for the sale of Town-owned property located at 99 Myrtle Avenue, subject to a positive 8-24 report from the Planning & Zoning Commission.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a contract between the Town of Westport and DigTrees.Com, LLC as it relates to tree warden services.
