WESTPORT HISTORIC DISTRICT COMMISSION
LEGAL NOTICE AND AGENDA


Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes: 




PUBLIC HEARING


1. To hear Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.


2. To approve the minutes of the June 9, 2015 public hearing.


3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for the proposed replacement of the roof at 6 Violet Lane located in the Violet Lane Historic District.


4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application for the proposed additions, specific window replacements and porch door replacement at 75 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.


5. **Upon the request of a Westport citizen, to consider the proposed local historic landmark designation of Golden Shadows’ Guest House at 70 Compo Road South identified on the Historic Resources Inventory, c. 1910.


6. To review and comment on Planning and Zoning Transmittal regarding §8-24 Request from the First Selectman for sale of town-owned local historic landmark property at 99 Myrtle Avenue.


7. Upon the request of Coastal Construction, comment on the text for the proposed historic plaque to commemorate the dismantled historic Geiger Barn at 1135 Post Road East.


8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition 
permit application at 19 Vani Court.


9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application for the stable/studio at 9 Scot Alan Lane.


10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 7 Manitou Road.


11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 22 Warnock Drive.


12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 25 Westfair Drive.


13. *To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 223 Hillspoint Road.


14. To discuss nominations for the 2015 Annual Preservation Awards to be presented in September.
