WESTPORT SHELLFISH COMMISSION

Notice is hereby given that a Meeting of the Westport Shellfish Commission is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall, 110 Myrtle Avenue to take such action as the meeting may determine regarding the following:
1.Approval of June 3, 2015 meeting minutes.
2.Treasurer’s Report
3.Police Report
4.Recreational Shellfish Report
5.New Business
a.52 Canal Road: Review of proposal to construct two living shoreline sections with large rocks, coir logs and sea grass to restore tidal wetlands; repaired damage to existing seawall and stone groins to fill in voids created by storms Sandy and Irene; and raise height of a 40 foot section of existing seawall 3.5 feet to match the height of the existing seawall on either side.
b.Discussion of Marine Police overtime patrols.
