Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 307/309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
- 1.To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of April 22, 2015 and the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of April 22, 2015.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the use of Town-owned property known as Imperial Avenue Parking Lot from Saturday, June 15, 2015 through Monday, June 22, 2015 by the Westport Woman’s Club for the Yankee Doodle Fair, contingent upon compliance with comments from various Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, to approve the acceptance of a monetary gift from the Katz Family Foundation, Inc. to the Town of Westport Police Department to cover the expense of a part-time position in the Animal Control Office.
- 4.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Information Technology and Department of Human Services Directors, to approve the Services Agreement between ClientTrack, Inc. and the Town of Westport as it relates to software service functions and dashboard configuration.
- 5.To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Emergency Services Director, to approve the Residential Real Estate Sales Agreement between the Town of Westport and Irene Parker the acquisition of property located at 38 Old Mill in accordance with the State of Connecticut Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Emergency Services Director, to approve the Residential Real Estate Sales Agreement between the Town of Westport and Patricia Marie McGraw for the acquisition of property located at 40 Old Mill in accordance with the State of Connecticut Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Emergency Services Director, to approve the Residential Real Estate Sales Agreement between the Town of Westport and Christopher T. McMillan for the acquisition of property located at 199 Newtown Turnpike in accordance with the State of Connecticut Hazard Mitigation Grant Program.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to reinstate a main line sewer extension approval at property known as 5 Longview Road, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of May 5, 2015.
