Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
1. To approve the minutes of the August 9, 2011 public hearing.
2. Upon the recommendation of the HDC Grant Committee, approve the contract award with Public Archaeology Lab., Inc. (PAL) for the 2011-2012 Historic Resources Inventory update.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated August 13, 2011 for the proposed expansion and modification to driveway at 17 Evergreen Avenue located in the Evergreen Avenue Historic District.
4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated August 13, 2011 for the proposed garage door replacement at 17 Evergreen Avenue located in the Evergreen Avenue Historic District.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated August 13, 2011 for the proposed mudroom modification at 17 Evergreen Avenue located in the Evergreen Avenue Historic District.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated August 31, 2011 for the proposed construction of a garage at 4 Violet Lane located in the Violet Lane Historic District.
7. To review and comment on Planning and Zoning Transmittal Site Plan Appl. #11-041/531,541,561 Post Road East to include the retention of the historic structure, identified on the HRI as 535 Post Road East c.1900.
8. Upon the request of the Conservation Department, review and comment on the eligibility of the structure at 41 Crescent Road, identified on the HRI c. 1879, for a proposed Special Permit for Historic Residential Structures and determine whether it meets the intent of §32-18 in its relationship to a proposed new construction and subdivision.
9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 20 Compo Road South identified on the HRI as the Eloise Egan House c. 1870/1932.
10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 35 Burr Farms Road.
11. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 100 Post Road East.
12. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 47 High Point Road.
13. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 15 Brook Lane.
14. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 157 Riverside Avenue.
15. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 4 Old Hill Farms Road.
16. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 48 North Avenue.
17. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 9 Roosevelt Road identified as a non-contributing resource c. 1947 in the Compo Owenoke National Register District.
