Notice is hereby given that the Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in Town Hall Room 307 for the following purposes:
1. To approve the minutes of the July 12, 2011 work session and public hearing.
2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated July 27, 2011 for a proposed new construction at 5A Gorham Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated July 28, 2011 for the proposed installation of a concentric ventilation hood on an exterior wall at 290 Main Street located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
4. To review and comment on proposed amendments to existing Historic Design District Regulations (Section 30 of the Westport Zoning Regulations).
5. To review and comment on the proposed conversion of the open arcade area to year-round space at the National Hall Building at 2 Post Road West located in the Historic Design District.
6. To review and comment on the proposed addition to 8 Post Road West located in the Historic Design District.
7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 19 Sterling Drive.
8. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 10 Stony Brook Road.
9. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 6 Hawthorne Lane.
10. To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of delay for a demolition permit application at 11 Blue Ribbon Drive.
11. To review and discuss nominations for the 2011 Annual Preservation Awards.
