The Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 13, 2015 at Town Hall, Room 201, for the following purposes:
PUBLIC HEARING
1. To hear Chair’s report and update on current HDC activities.
2.To approve the minutes of the December 9, 2014 public hearing.
3.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated December 19, 2014 for the proposed demolition at 120 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
4.To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated December 19, 2014 for the proposed replacement of the roof, chimneys and gutters at 96 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
5. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated December 19, 2014 for the proposed installation of fencing and gate at 96 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated December 19, 2014 for the proposed window restoration at 96 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine to review and comment on Historic Design District Application for proposed signage and awnings for the Vespa Restaurant at National Hall, 2-A Post Road West.
8.To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 14 Sunrise Road.
9.To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 10 Morningside Lane.
10.To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 142 Compo Road North.
11.*To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 66 Beachside Avenue identified on the Historic Resources Inventory as the C. Sooysmith/Frederick T. Bedford Estate Stable c. 1890.
12.*To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 225 Greens Farms Road identified on the Historic Resources Inventory c. 1900.
