The Board of Finance will hold its Public Hearing on Wednesday, January 7, 2015 at 8:00 p.m. in the Auditorium of Town Hall.  The following item(s), and any others properly presented before the Board, will be considered:

AGENDA

DISCUSSION/REVIEW
1. Financial Report from the Finance Director.
2. Status Update from the Internal Auditor.
3. The Board will have a preliminary discussion of the 2015-16 Town Budget.  No action will be taken.

RECOMMENDATION
4. To recommend the acquisition of 0.23 acres of property at 38 Old Mill Road and 0.005 acres at 40 Old Mill Road.

APPROPRIATIONS IN THE 2014-2015 BUDGET
5. A request by the Selectmen’s office for an appropriation of $1,111,650 from the Municipal Real Property Fund to acquire 0.23 acres of property at 38 Old Mill Road and 0.005 acres at 40 Old Mill Road.

6. A request by the Library for an appropriation of $7,500 from the Capital and Non-Recurring Expenditure Fund for the repair of a section of boiler that has developed a crack.

7. A request by the Parks and Recreation Department for an appropriation of $308,000 from the Capital and Non-Recurring Expenditures Fund for renovation of the three swimming pools at Longshore Club Park.

8. A request by the Selectmen’s office for a special appropriation from the General Fund Balance of funds not to exceed $73,000 to be used to enter into a contract with AKF Engineers, LLP for the purpose of serving as an Owner’s Representative Engineer related to conducting an Energy Performance Contracting Program for the Town and Board of Education.

9. A request by the Department of Public Works for an appropriation in the amount of $303,260 to cover the cost of the sidewalk replacement between the Post Road and Avery Place, which will be fully reimbursed.

10. Approve the Board of Finance Minutes of the November 5, 2014 regular meeting.

CALENDAR REVIEW
11. Review the proposed BOF calendar for 2015.
