The Westport Historic District Commission will hold a work session at 6:30 p.m. and a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 9, 2014 at Town Hall, Room 201, for the following purposes:
WORK SESSION
1.To hear a preliminary application for proposed demolition and proposed new construction at 120 Kings Highway North located in the Kings Highway North Historic District.
PUBLIC HEARING
2. To hear Chairman’s report and update on current HDC activities.
3.To approve the minutes of the November 18, 2014 public hearing
4.** To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated November 4, 2014 for proposed modifications to the existing fire lane, landscape screening and lighting at 8-10 Wright Street located in the Kings Highway North Historic District. WITHDRAWN BY THE APPLICANT
5.Upon the request of the property owner, to determine the eligibility of the property at 158 Hillspoint Road for a Special Permit for Historic Residential Structures.
6.To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 11 Minute Man Hill.
7.To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 17 Boxwood Lane.
8.To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 23 Juniper Road.*
