Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, November 26, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):
1. To approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of November 12, 2014, and the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority’s public hearing of November 12, 2014
2. To approve a waiver of the Westport Policy on Encroachments on Town Property to the extent it relates to an existing fence located on Town property at 144 Newtown Turnpike, contingent upon compliance with the Town Engineer’s letter of November 19, 2014.
3. To approve the use of Town properties known as Jesup Green and Taylor Parking Lot on Saturday, April 25, 2015 from 7 a.m. to 12 midnight for the Westport Mini Maker Faire, contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
4. To approve the use of various Town roads on Sunday, May 31, 2015 from 5 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Sound Cyclists Bicycle Club’s Bloomin’ Metric bicycle ride, contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant Town departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town-owned Property, Facilities and/or Roadways.
5. To approve the use of Town properties known as Jesup Green and the Library Riverwalk on Wednesday, December 31, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. for events related to First Night Westport/Weston, contingent upon compliance with comments from relevant Town Departments and in accordance with Procedures for Use of Town–owned Property, Facilities and/or Public Roadways.
6. To approve the In House Repair Center Agreement between the Town of Westport and Scott Safety as it relates to the repair and service of firefighting Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus.
7. To approve a contract between the Town of Westport and Socialmentum, LLC d/b/a MindMixer for access to the MindMixer Engagement Platform which provides interactive engagement technology allowing for online community input regarding town issues and ideas.
