Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, October 22, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):


1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of October 8, 2014. 


2. To take such action as the meeting may determine acting in its capacity as the Traffic Authority, to approve the closure of Taylor Place on Saturday, November 1, 2014 for a period of time to be determined, but no greater than 24 hours, for a Friends of the Levitt Pavilion fundraiser, contingent upon comments from relevant Town departments.
  
3. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Town Assessor, to approve the Agreement between the Town of Westport and Andrews & Galvin Appraisal Services, LLC for professional services associated with the 2015 revaluation.


4. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Information Technology, to approve an Agreement between the Town of Westport and Jamie Sachs for filming live town meetings.


5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the Director of Information Technology, to approve a Sales and Maintenance Service Agreement between the Town of Westport and Total Communications, Inc. for the Town-wide Cisco VoIP phone system upgrade.


6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the request of the CT Department of Transportation, to approve the granting of an easement to the CT Department of Transportation for the installation and maintenance of a traffic signal device on Town property located along U.S. Route 1 (Post Road); to accept compensation in the amount of $600.00 for such easement; and to authorize the First Selectman to execute any and all documents necessary to effect the granting of said easement.


7. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority and in accordance with C.G.S. Chapter 103, to schedule a Preliminary Benefit Assessment Hearing for Sanitary Sewer Contract No. 65 and to consider proposed assessments to be levied for the construction of a sewerage system affecting properties located in all, or part of, the following areas: Bulkley Avenue North, Buttonwood Lane, Old Road, Mallard Lane, Forest Drive,  Elizabeth Drive, and Shadowland Drive.
