Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Thursday, September 11, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 309 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):


1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of August 27, 2014.


2. To take such action as the meeting may determine to accept monetary gifts to the Town of Westport Human Services Department to support the continuation of Parkinson’s support classes in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, as amended October 28, 1998. 


3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a contract between Fiduciary Investment Advisors (FIA) and the Town of Westport to assist the Town in the RFP process for record keeping and Administrative services for the Town’s 401(k) and Defined Contribution Plans and Defined Benefit Pension Plans.


4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a contract between Spyglass Group and the Town of Westport for the audit of the Town’s telecommunication service accounts to seek cost recovery and cost reductions.


5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Tax Abatement Committee and in accordance with Section 54-197(b) of the Code of Ordinances, to review and approve the Agreement between Hales Court Housing, LLC and the Town of Westport as it relates to an abatement of real property taxes on properties owned by Hales Court, known as the Village at Hales Court, located in Westport. 


6. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a residential lease agreement for Town property located at 52B Compo Road South.


7. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve an extension of a temporary sidewalk easement for the encroachment of a barricade blocking a portion of Parker Harding Plaza and on the sidewalk of Main Street for the time period during which 105 Main Street undergoes renovations.
