Public Hearing Notice and Agenda
July 8, 2014
The Westport Historic District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 8, 2014 in Town Hall Room 201 for the following purposes:
- To hear Chairman’s report and update on current HDC activities.
- To approve the minutes of the June 10, 2014 special meeting and public hearing.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate of Appropriateness Application dated June 25, 2014 for the proposed construction of a garage addition at 7 Washington Avenue located in the Gorham Avenue Historic District.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to reconsider waiving the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 8 Bradley Street located in the Compo Owenoke Historic District.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 10 Reichert Circle.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 166 Cross Highway.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 54 North Avenue, c. 1906, identified on the Historic Resources Inventory.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 12 Manitou Road.
- To take such action as the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit application at 19 Hillspoint Road.
- To discuss the definition of a demolition as it applies to historic resources.
- To discuss possible nominations for the upcoming 2014 Annual Preservation Awards to be announced in the fall.
