The Westport Historic
District Commission will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 10, 2014 in Town Hall Room 201 for the
following purposes:
- To hear Chairman’s report and update on current
HDC activities.
- To approve the minutes of the May 13, 2014 public
hearing.
- To take such action as
the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate
of Appropriateness Application dated
May 8, 2014
for the proposed installation of a fence at 1 Evergreen Parkway located
in the Evergreen Avenue Historic District..
- To take such action as
the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate
of Appropriateness Application dated May 27, 2014 for proposed modifications to
a previously approved Certificate of
Appropriateness for a change of door design for the garage and wood
driveway gate at 79 Kings
Highway North in the Kings Highway North
Historic District.
- To take such action as
the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate
of Appropriateness Application dated May 28, 2014 for proposed addition and
renovation at 71 Wright
Street located in the Kings Highway North
Historic District.
- To take such action as
the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate
of Appropriateness Application dated May 28, 2014 for proposed modification to
a previously approved Certificate of
Appropriateness for the screening of the rooftop exhaust fan at 90 Post Road East
located in the Jesup Road Historic District.
- To take such action as
the meeting may determine to approve a Certificate
of Appropriateness Application dated May 28, 2014 for the proposed addition at
18 West Parish Road,
the Burr-Nash House, a local historic landmark property.
- To review and comment on Text Amendment
#678/P&Z Appl. #14-026, to modify §5, Definitions, §, Non-conforming
Uses, Buildings and Lots, §13, Residence A Districts, §14, Residence B
Districts and §31-11, Flood Plan Regulations of the Zoning Regulations.
To comment on the
historic or architectural significance of a potential violation of the
Town of Westport’s
Anti-Blight Ordinance at 11

- To take such action as the meeting may determine
to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition permit
application at 19 Fairfield Avenue.
- To take such action as
the meeting may determine to waive the balance of the delay period for a demolition
