The Board of Selectmen and Water Pollution Control Authority meeting schedule is posted to the town's web calendar each February for the following 12 months.  See below for proposed standing meeting dates which are subject to change.  Consult the calendar as the meeting date approaches for agenda and updates.

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Selectmen, Traffic Authority and Water Pollution Control Authority will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at 8:30 a.m. in Room 309/307 of the Westport Town Hall for the following purpose(s):


1. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the minutes of the Board of Selectmen’s public hearing of April 23, 2014 and the minutes of the Water Pollution Control Authority public hearing of April 23, 2014. 


2. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Traffic Authority, to approve the use of parking spaces on Main Street adjacent to and by Bobby Q’s Restaurant for a pop-up café contingent upon compliance with the Town of Westport Pop-up Seating and Pop-up Café Guidelines as amended March 14, 2012.


3. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the acceptance of a gift in the amount of $2,500 from the Renee B. Fisher Foundation, Inc., in accordance with the Policy for Gifts to the Town, as amended October 28, 1998.


4. To take such action as the meeting may determine to approve the Connecticut Office of Policy & Management Main Street Investment Fund Grant application for the Town of Westport for enhancements to the downtown area, and to authorize First Selectman James S. Marpe to execute and deliver all documents in connection therewith in the name of and on behalf of the Town of Westport.


5. To take such action as the meeting may determine, upon the recommendation of the Parks & Recreation Administrative Manager, to approve three (3) residential lease agreements for town-owned property at 260 Compo Road South-Cabin 10, 260 Compo Road South-Knoll House 2, and 99 Myrtle Avenue.  


6. To take such action as the meeting may determine, acting in its capacity as the Water Pollution Control Authority, to approve a sanitary sewer extension and residential connection at properties located at 1 Hillandale Lane and 10 Hilltop Trail, contingent upon compliance with the WPCA Coordinator’s letter of April 25, 2014.
